As we have had no local transmission of COVID-19 for over 200 days, we are adjusting our requirements for the wearing of face masks when attending the practice for a consultation.
If you have respiratory symptoms, please contact reception prior to your appointment so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
We no longer require that you wear a mask into the practice *IF* you believe that you will be able to socially distance throughout your consultation.
If you believe that you will not be able to practice social distancing throughout your consultation, please bring a mask with you.
If you would prefer to wear a mask, even though you are not unwell and don't anticipate issues with social distancing, you are welcome to do so.
Our staff may ask if you have any cold-like symptoms - please don’t be offended. We are doing this to keep you and others safe.
If you are asked to isolate at home, please ensure you follow the Department of Health Guidance on home isolation. This will help stop the spread.
Look out for your more vulnerable neighbours and elderly family members - they may need a little more support than usual.
Our dedicated team is here to help with all your health needs, so please call us and we will arrange an appointment for you.
Thank you

Testing for Coronavirus is governed by the Department of Health Guidelines. Only a GP can refer you for testing.
If your doctor decides that you meet the testing criteria, they may refer you to either Douglass Hanly Moir or the Base Hospital.
For Referrals to Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology: You must call 65 89 2900 to make an appointment. Please do not attend without an appointment. You should wear a mask if available.
If your doctor refers you to the hospital you should present at the Emergency Department, who will provide further instructions.
